The IDMP 2015 at the St. James Medical Complex, National Radiotherapy Centre was a great success. From as early as 7am eager eyes watched as members of the TTOMP began to prepare the breakfast table. By 8:30am patients were welcomed over the intercom to help themselves to a variety of breakfast items such as; Apples, Bananas, Pears, Sweat Bread, Banana Bread and many more pastries along with the help of the "Friends of NRC Organization" who assisted by serving tea and coffee.
Many patients took a moment to tell us thank you and a few more were further interested in having a quick lecture on our role we play in Radiation Oncology and the specific responsibility of ensuring a safe and therapeutic outcome from their radiotherapy sessions.
